Parent and child
"

Why isn't my child talking like the others?"

Your child is not the worst

Your worry
has a real answer

Watching other children chatter away while yours struggles to find words is one of the loneliest feelings a parent can carry. You've heard "give it time." You've searched online. You've tried everything you can think of at home.

We want you to know that: your instinct is right, and early support changes everything.

If you are noticing these signs, your child may need our help:

Not talking well, stammering, or not meeting speech milestones for their age
Struggles with eating, chewing, or swallowing
Frequent tantrums when they can't express themselves
Sensory sensitivities — textures, sounds, touch
Difficulty focusing, following instructions, or sitting still

Delays in speech, feeding, behaviour, and sensory processing rarely resolve on their own. But with the right support, children make remarkable progress — often faster than parents expect.

Our Approach

One program.
Four therapies. One child.

We don't treat symptoms in isolation. Every discipline in our program talks to the others because your child is a whole person, not a checklist.

01

Speech & Language Therapy

We work on how your child communicates—words, sentences, understanding, and the social art of conversation. Whether your child is not yet talking, stutters, or struggles to be understood, we meet them exactly where they are.

Late talking Articulation Stuttering Social language Language delay

02

Occupational Therapy

If your child can't regulate themselves, cope with textures or is tiptoeing, they're dysregulated. Our OT sessions build the physical and sensory foundations that make everything else easier, from dressing to learning.

Sensory processing Fine motor skills Self-regulation Daily living skills

03

Feeding Therapy

Mealtimes should not be a battle. If your child refuses certain textures, gags frequently, cannot chew properly, or has swallowing difficulties, feeding therapy addresses the physical, sensory, and behavioural roots of these challenges.

Food refusal Chewing difficulty Swallowing Texture sensitivity

04

Behavioural Therapy

Tantrums, meltdowns, aggression, and rigidity are often communication breakdowns, not bad behaviour. We help children learn to understand and express their emotions, build routines, and develop the self-control they need to participate in daily life.

Emotional regulation Routine building Social skills Focus & attention

Home-Based

Our therapists come to you. Your child works best in a familiar environment — and you are part of every session.

Centre-Based Group Therapy

Small group sessions at our Rumuodara centre. 2 hours a day, 4 days a week. Limited spaces per term.

Parent Coaching

Online parent Guidance where you do the therapies yourself at home following your regular daily routine.

The CVT Difference

More Than therapy.
A partnership.

What makes CVT different is not just what we do but how we do it, and who we do it with.

Play-Based & Movement-Rich

Children learn by doing and playing. Not sitting still at a desk. Every session is full of purposeful movement and joy.

Parents as Partners

You spend more time with your child than we ever will. We equip you with strategies that work at mealtimes, bath time, and everywhere in between.

We Come to You

No traffic stress. No disrupted routines. Our home-based service brings expert therapy to your doorstep, where your child is most comfortable.

Evidence-Based Methods

Every technique we use is grounded in research. We combine proven therapeutic approaches with the play-centred methods children respond to best.

Our Philosophy

Children talk best
with play and joy

We believe your child can communicate fluently. They just need the right environment and motivation to bring it out naturally. Play is not a reward for finishing work. Play is the language. It is how little brains explore, understand, and connect with their world.

That is why we do not rely on repetitive drills or worksheets. We weave proven therapeutic techniques into activities your child genuinely loves, and they grow without even knowing they are in therapy.

Targeted goals, playful methods

We use play strategically to address specific speech, motor, feeding, and behavioural needs, not as filler.

Sessions built around your child's interests

A child who is interested is a child who is learning. Every session is designed around what makes your child light up.

Family partnership at the core

You are the expert on your child. We work with you, not around you—so skills carry into every part of daily life.

Evidence-based, always

Every approach we use has research behind it. We combine proven clinical techniques with what children actually respond to.

Play isn't just fun. It's the essential language of childhood. Play is how children explore, understand, and connect with their world.

— CVT founding philosophy

Who We Are

Passionate support
for your child's journey

Caston Vienna Tutors was founded by Vienna, a speech-language pathologist and occupational therapist whose path into this work began in a classroom, where she watched children who were struggling being overlooked, and deciding that would not be the end of their story.

CVT is more than just a therapy centre. It is what happens when a practitioner who has seen both sides—the classroom and the clinic—builds exactly the kind of support she wished had existed for those children.

We are a multidisciplinary team of therapists and educators working together for one goal: to help every child we work with communicate, connect, and thrive.
